I'm back and blogging! Now that is said and done I can move on to what this post is actually about.
Yesterday I paid for the rest if my holiday and am now very much in the holiday mood, plus the sun came out today which made me want to fly away even more. So in order to fill this holiday shaped hole I have been scouring the internet for the 'perfect' bikini, however I have only been able to find these three. That being said they are all still lovey bikinis but I just want to find some more before I decide but I just don't know where to look. The serch goes on
About Me
- sophie
- I currently study and live in Birmingham and am in my second year of university, undertaking a degree in media and communication. I used to blog (about fashion, style, clothes etc.) but for various reasons stopped. However, I now find myself at a point where I have more developed and informed opinions on an array of different things, including the fashion industry. This blog is not going to be photos of outfits and clothes, but my view on a multitude of topics surrounding the fashion industry. Fashion is something that I love but as media undergraduate I want to write articles that avoid the wishy washy adoration so commonly reflected in fashion blogs and magazines. It's interesting to look a little further and dig a littler deeper.

ways to wear it: Bershka shirt
Here, as promised, is the video of how I plan to wear my new shirt this summer. You may notice that I paired it with shorts each time, but I prefer to wear shorts over skirts, I just feel more comfortable. I thought I'd include some photos as well, for people who do not wish to watch the video for what ever reason.

I'd say this first outfit is quite military inspired because of the detailing on the shorts and lace up boots, the colours are also reminiscent of this theme. Perfect for going out if you want achieve a smart look but wish to show off your tan at the same time.

This look is definitely focussed on the shorts rather than the shirt because of the bold print. Keeping the shirt and the shoes black focuses the attention on the shorts giving the look an overall summery vibe. The wedges make it more of a night time look but changing them to a pair of sandals or flats will make it perfect for the day.

This is one way I would choose to dress down the shirt; the distressed denim gives it a more casual feel whilst the boots add some edge to the look. I would wear it when I'm going out with my friends or even to do some shopping.

Coachella style
So, it's Coachella this weekend and I have to say that I am extremely jealous of everyone who is there this weekend. It is definitely on my list of to-do's. I thought it would be fitting to do a Coachella fashion inspiration post. Enjoy.
I just love festival fashion, it's always so carefree and effortless. Festival fashion does slightly vary here in Britain though, but only as a result of the weather. Lets face it, it is the only time that wearing wellie boots and denim shorts together is acceptable, but very chic I must say. Over at Coachella the weather is definitely not a problem, hence why there is an abundance of sandals and suede boots. I would definitely go with a good old pair of converse though, as I would want to protect my toes from being stood on. Out of all the photos here the last one has to be my favourite purely because of the amazing feathered headdresses, not forgetting the wonderful flowing maxi dresses.

shopping list of sorts

Just a few things that I'm lusting over from Topshop. I think I will definitely order the purple/pink tie die tights and the aztec print top. I think its the sunny weather getting me in the mood for summer. It was 20 degrees today! A tan is very much needed, as my legs are white as snow at the moment, then theres the case of the 'bikini body' a diet is needed. I'm just so excited for summer, words cannot describe it. I've already got a number of BBQs lined up already, one of them being for my birthday in May, 17 at last and I cannot wait to drive.
